Full Story

This project was particularly interesting for me as it leveraged my expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, an area I had honed over several years of working on banking integrations.

In this role, I acted as a consultant, tasked not with building a full-scale project but rather resolving a specific issue the client was facing: difficulties in implementing encryption for their SSO setup. My goal was to provide a swift and simple solution that would also be easy for Magnifi's internal teams to maintain and use.

I developed a solution heavily based on Q2's existing framework, as per the project requirements. The outcome was a complete success, and the client expressed satisfaction with how straightforward it made their process.

Following this successful implementation, I spent weekends working independently to create a fully decoupled SSO solution from scratch, designed for broader applicability across projects. I shared this solution through an internal repository at my company, making it accessible to all Tech Leads. This initiative not only simplified future SSO integrations but also freed me and my colleagues from repetitive tasks, allowing us to focus on more strategic work while enhancing the company's profitability.

The initial project provided significant value to the client by resolving their issue, while simultaneously inspiring an internal improvement that made our team more efficient and empowered other colleagues to handle similar tasks with ease.
