In early 2021, my company undertook a project to integrate Q2 and Nydig, enabling customers to trade cryptocurrency within their Online Banking platform (OLB). If I recall correctly, this was one of the first OLB platforms to offer such a feature.

The team consisted of just two developers, which made the experience both challenging and rewarding. We were able to deliver significant value to our clients by creating an innovative solution that Q2 now maintains as an additional feature in their OLB platform after we completed the project.

Why This Project Mattered

  • It required balancing speed with trust, security expectations, and platform stability.
